About Me
Hi! I’m Farah. And I get it.
As an OCN Level 3 certified sleep consultant and a busy working mom of two, I have lived the exhaustion, confusion, and overwhelm of early childhood sleep firsthand.
I know what it feels like to be tired all the time, to read article after article about sleep tips, to try routines that feel forced or unhelpful, and to frantically scour Google at 3AM searching for a better way. That experience shapes everything I do. I started Yawn Sleep Consultancy because no parent should feel alone in that dark, tired, hopeless space. I have since helped many children and their exhausted parents sleep better.
My Sleep Philosophy
Through years of working professionally with families and my own experience as a parent, I’ve learned that sleep struggles almost always reflect something deeper than just routines or sleep skills.
Sleep is not just about sleep.
It’s also about regulation, development, and connection — much of which is shaped during the day, long before bedtime is even on your radar.
When a child’s nervous system feels safe enough to let go, sleep skills develop more easily — and they stick. That sense of safety is built through rhythms, interactions, and regulation across the whole day, and it directly shapes how easily a child can settle and stay asleep at night.
This insight shapes everything I do — and it’s the piece missing from much of conventional sleep advice. That’s why so many families are left feeling like they’ve tried everything, without lasting results.
Regulate first. Train second. Sleep follows.
